These are my four Acrylic Paintings of, a public, demostic,private and industrial space. Also my four close up paintings of them. I have also added images of my initial ideas for my final canvas painting, one being a Dimond shape, with elements of each space within the gem. On my second design it shows what I chose to use for my final piece, being the door way into my private space, with my light shade from my domestic space, my print machine from my industrial space and finally my buss from my public space.
Here I have added images of some of my work I have produced over the year, during my self negotiated project. Focusing on eye's, noses and mouths. Eyes being my main focal point, exploring different medias and techniques to represent the journey of age. The closer I became to the end of the year I began focusing mainly on the eye itself, using an image I drew. Using the image to paint with and then moving on to printing, new to me I decided to give it a go, I'm glad that I did. creating a number of different but similar versions of the same eye become my favourite thing to do. After using various different techniques and medias I chose to use print as my final outcome idea, wanting to create something simple but effective I chose to over lap the image of the eye within the space of the paper, allowing some to look "perfect" and some to look a little, abstract. Main reason to this was to still keep with the official idea of age, I wanted to show this within the print by stating that the "perfect" eyes would represent youth and the defective eyes would represent elderly.
