Zimoun

Zemous installations incorporate common, industrial materials such as cardboard and creates architecturally platforms of sound.  Zemous work has rhythm and flow with a high order of movement creating sound within his sculptures and installations. although I have chosen Zimous as my artist for my sound project I am focusing mainly upon the look of some of his work such as the piece I have shown images of, I have chosen to look at this piece specifically as I am wanting to create a similar outcome as my final piece for my sound project relating to my sound of laughter. The technique and positioning of the cardboard has had a huge effect on me as it has caught my attention and made me question what is it? why does it look like that? what is the message behind the piece? when creating my final outcome based around laughter I am going to focus on the different pitches and tones within a laugh, some may be high others may be low. Us as individuals all have similar but yet unique laughs and I want to show that when fitting the cardboard together it is similar to the way the tone and sound of laughter fit together.
