What interests or drives you?

I am interested in the change and appearances of buildings from old to new/ at home (village) to city and towns . I will be looking at the structure, architecture and texture, focusing upon how the buildings look and how they have been made to look. Studying the buildings to create a number of responses including similarities ranging from, colour to lines and shapes. Also looking into the history of the buildings to suggest importance.

What materials do you think you think might best serve your investigations? what media\areas do you intend to explore?

Starting with sketches of building I well then move on to create textual pieces, in response to the artists I look at through out my journey. Using materials such as, pencil, Biro pen, Charcoal, Acrylic paint and Water paints. Then moving on to using materials such as Cardboard, Filler and found sources which contain texture, to then produces large scale pieces.

How will you measure your success?

I will measure my success by talking about my work throughout my journey, adding images of my work and talking through how I have created the pieces. Also picking work that may not have been successful and working from that to create another, I shall do this by using a different approach which may work better to get the outcome I intend to produce or, add onto what I already have by adding or taking away elements.
